If you love delicious food, you’ll love ‘The Terrace’!
On the main road in the middle of the village, run by a fabulous couple Ian & Michele.
A great chef is judged by his menu, and Ian excels. 15 items of beautiful Tapas, most under €5, ‘Tapas @ the Terrace’, or the ‘Menu @ the Terrace’. For the Menu Ian’s carefully chosen items for starter, main and dessert which allow you to easily step from culture to culture, from meat to fish to fowl or veggie, without even the blink of an eye. From yummy oriental prawns, to his special English open pie with tasty filling of the day, followed by the day’s dessert menu…. White chocolate cheesecake… my downfall! All home made too.Enjoy a superb evening with wine - about €32 for two of you. The menu changes daily… yes, every day, so you need to keep coming back. The large covered terrace (The Terrace…) seats 60, where you can relax to some easy music, and enjoy some of the very best food on Ibiza.Open from 10am ‘til 3pm, then 5.30pm ‘til close… (whenever that is), all the way up to the 1st week in November, just in case you fancy a late break.

Ian and Michele established ‘The Terrace’ two years ago, using their previous experience, (and a great reputation) in the village. And didn’t they do well!! They hit the road running in 2009, and this year (2010) since opening on May 1st, they’re totally buzzing. Quality food, beautifully presented by Ian who is an absolute Master at his Art, while the super service is led by Michele, ably assisted by Jo and Lynne.Nicely shaded, with tasteful décor, and ‘the right crowd, but no crowding’. No television here, so you can enjoy the meal and the company without distraction. Wheelchair friendly, oh and I forgot – there are another 18 seats inside. Fresh bread and ailoli is included in the €11.50 Menu. Superb value! And if you want to push the boat out, there are daily special dishes which carry a supplement of a few euro, but Hey, this is fantastic food. Cala Llonga’s a family place, and Ian & Michele have one, so they remember what’s needed. An imaginative and nutritious children’s menu encourages kids to tuck in without hesitation. Bottles can be warmed, and the toilets are just big enough to accommodate baby changing.Lunch time sees the tapas menu offered, or alternatively a series of Toasties, or Baguettes…. and proper square chips!!And if all that wasn’t enough, call The Terrace on 971 196 722 for a takeaway… yes they do takeaways, or book a table to avoid having to wait at the bar…. But it IS a very pleasant bar. Visa and Mastercard accepted, but not AmEx. Transport? Well, across the road is the taxi stand, and just down the road is the bus stop. Parking is an easy walk.Winter season starts November and sees The Terrace open around 7pm on Friday evenings for traditional (‘proper English’) Fish and Chips, and on Monday evenings for their famous quiz. Busy with local ex-pats on both nights, there’s always a very warm welcome if you’re passing.See you at the Terrace!
