If you were to look for somewhere to "chill out" perhaps one of the last places you would think of would be Es Cana, well think again.
 The Jacaranda Lounge Beach Club is situated in the heart of the village, but once inside, or on the beach, you can relax and close your mind to the rest of the world. Mandy Hayes has somehow managed to transform "her corner" of Es Cana and lifted the image of the village by adding just that little bit of sophistication, but without charging astronomical prices, as is the case in some places around the island. Entrance is FREE, day or night, a lounger and parasol costs just 5€. The oriental styled gazebos with drapes that can provide you with a little privacy should you prefer it, the single or double sun-loungers and sofas surround the almost Olympic sized swimming pool, which at night transforms into a softly lit Thai style chill-out zone overlooking the sea, or if the mood takes you then the beach is available. Fancy a massage or a Yoga session, then they're available too. You can quite easily spend a whole day and night at Jacaranda.
Drinks prices, with efficient and friendly waiter service, are very reasonable as are the choices on the menus. Food-wise there's almost everything you can think of. The Snack Bar has all your usual favorites, Burgers, Pizzas and Sandwiches, while the restaurant menu offers a huge choice from "Bangers and Mash" or "Fish and chips" to a Fillet Steak, Mexican, Thai and of course some very interesting Spanish and fish dishes. As the afternoon fades away then it's cocktail time.
With its panoramic views over the Mediterranean and the island of Tagomago, the terrace is a perfect place to sit and sip one of Jacarandas's famous Mojitos, a Daiquiri, Margarita or Pina Colada, all made with fresh exotic fruit, and watch the moon rise out of the sea. Then you may like to enjoy the entertainment in the indoor lounge, with it's eastern style decorations, tastefully blended with bamboo and the oh so comfy white sofas. If you really want to chill out then why not try one of the Shisha Pipes with a choice of ten exotic flavours. There's entertainment most evenings with a variety of performers to please everyone.
So, in a nut shell, if you would like to enjoy a relaxing day and evening in a sophisticated fashionable location, with a magnificent terrace, a huge swimming pool, a beach, good food and drinks at realistic prices, plus entertainment, then you can do no better than pay a visit to Jacaranda Lounge Beach Club in Es Canar.
